It rained like the sky tore open this evening.
The great thing was as we stood by the door of our fifth floor apartment, we can see one part of the area had already started raining. It slowly made its way to our building. And it was awesome watching the rain came that way.
Slowly, part by part of the area was drenched in rain as it came down in torrents. When it finally hit our area, the air smelt like earth. I inhaled deeply and enjoyed the taste that lingered in my throat. The smell of earth is really powerful and it brought me to my senses because I can’t help but feel that,
From earth I come and from earth I shall return.
